Oxyspas (Oxybutynin Chloride Tablets) use
Oxyspas (Oxybutynin Chloride Tablets) contains oxybutynin and is used to treat treating bladder spasms, overactive bladder (frequent or urgent urination, increased nighttime urination, urine leakage). Oxytrol blocks acetylcholine which binds with receptors of bladder muscles causing their contraction.
Dosage
Take 5 mg immediate-release tablets of Oxytrol 2-4 times a day. Starting dose for elderly patients is 2.5 mg. Take extended-release tablets once daily. Oxytrol tablets can be taken with or without food. Do not crush, chew or broke the tablet.
